BETS has carried out more than 30 Agricultural and Livestock projects.
BETS has developed agricultural projects for rural villages and also the wider spectrum covering both upstream improvement activities (such as watershed conservation and management, reforestation) and downstream protection activities (such as flood control). BETS integrates agriculture and rural development to help clients effectively manage their natural resources and improve food production on a sustainable basis, alleviate poverty and improve overall welfare of rural population. BETS is also involved in empowerment and training of rural population through people participatory projects which aim to build and strengthen relationships between rural organizations and the local and central government, establish shared understanding and encouraging stakeholders to participate in the planning of resource development.
BETS projects cover a wide range of disciplines including agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, irrigation & drainage, rural water supply, agricultural training & education. BETS professionals have in-depth knowledge and wide experience in many areas including Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Irrigation and Drainage, Soil Conservation and Improvement, On-farm development, Integrated Rural Development, Agricultural Processing, Agro Forestry, Watershed Management, Environmental Conservation and Protection and Socio-economy.
